This is the new micro computer control board in Opus 2. Completely designed by Renaissance Audio Electronics, this board features immence ground planes to reduce AF EMI throughout the amp. As shown in the picture below, the board features point to point wiring for critical audio signal paths, allowing for the most pure signal path possible.
The wire connecting key portions of
the voltage supply/controller is mono filimant crystal copper.
This is cast wire not drawn. Drawing wire makes discontinuities
in the wire. These discontinuities in the wire cause variable
resistance at high frequencies, causing reflection and other wave form
deformations. To avoid the problems involved with drawn wire, we
use cast monofilament copper wire.
